If respondents no longer wish to participate in your study, they must inform a member of the study team.
Unlike standard marketing emails, Castor CDMS survey invitations do not include an "unsubscribe" link. This ensures that participants do not accidentally opt themselves out of critical clinical data collection (ePROs) without the study team's knowledge, which could result in them being inadvertently marked as dropped out of the study.
To stop sending surveys to a participant, a study team member (or another user with sufficient permissions) must manually archive the planned survey invitations for that participant's record.
By archiving the survey invitations, all future scheduled surveys in that package will be canceled and will not be sent.
