Grouped/paginated questions in Castor Connect

Historically, fields configured for Castor Connect have been displayed one-by-one, or one field per page. Survey packages can now be configured to allow fields to be displayed in pages in the same way they are in our web surveys. Within the scheduling tab of the  survey package configuration UI, a new ‘Mobile survey display’ has been added. Applying this to a survey package means the app will display fields according to their configured pages, rather than one-by-one,

Localized content

A number of minor amendments to both the app and the CDMS (2022.3.2) combine to enable the localisation of Castor Connect content

• A language picker has been added to both the activation screen and settings screen of the app
  • Selecting a language here will change all non-user generated content, including buttons and error messages, into the selected language
  • Available languages in this release: English , Dutch, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Polish, Swedish, Czech
• The survey package configuration options have been expanded to allow for the editing of both the Castor Connect activation email and associated push messages

Castor Connect 2022.3.2

Release dates: 7th February 2023 (iOS and Android)
As part of this minor release, a small number of improvements and fixes for issues have been added to the app:

• Data entry for numeric fields has been improved
  • This includes preventing users from entering an empty value
• An issue where if a repeatable survey package was archived and then unarchived within the platform, subsequent instances of that survey would not be repeatable in the app has been resolved
• An issue where surveys that only consisted of a single field (no introduction or outro text - just one field) would not submit correctly has been resolved

Castor Connect 2022.3.3

Release dates: 5th May 2023 (Android), 9th May 2023 (iOS)

As part of this minor release, a small number of improvements and fixes for issues have been added to the app:

• Resolved an issue where, when a large number of future scheduled surveys are sent at once, the app failed to load the latest survey 
  • This issue was also causing some slowdown on the app home screen, this should be improved/reduced as part of resolving this issue 
• Resolved an issue where ‘IS NOT’ dependencies configured on fields were being ignored and the fields displayed in-app regardless of configuration
• Resolved an issue where, when a user provided multiple responses to a checkbox field that was also used as a variable within a calculation field, the calculation would only use the first entered value
