Castor EDC/CDMS is a web application which can be accessed from anywhere using your Castor login credentials. For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge (any operating system). It is recommended to use an up to date browser, for compatibility and security updates. Internet Explorer is no longer supported.

We realise that many hospitals run older versions of browsers and therefore we make efforts to ensure that all functions will continue to work on outdated browser versions, although users may expect some small impact on the user interface.

In August 2018, Castor removed support for HTTPS encryption protocols TLS1.0 and 1.1 - support for these protocols was entirely removed with Castor release 2018.6. Since this update, users with outdated browsers may notice that some functions appear broken because the browser can no longer display them.
