A number of improvements have been made to the app as part of release 2023.2.0!
 

• Users can now use the survey 'available from' date and time in their surveys as a variable
• The Castor release version of the app is now displayed on both the home screen and security screen
• Footers configured for surveys in the Castor platform can now be displayed within the app at the bottom of the page consistent with our updated web surveys
• Participants will now be appropriately warned after being archived by a clinician

• Resolved an issue where participants with large numbers of surveys (200+) assigned were experiencing issues displaying surveys in the app

This release is focussed on UI updates and resolving recently reported issues within the app
 

• For surveys that display a single field per page: Questions with multiple options will scale to ensure all options are displayed on-screen and prevent scrolling
• Sliders have been updated to take advantage of the additional config options introduced in 2023.4 through 2023.4.2
• A scan QR code function has been added to the PIN reset and reactivation flows to simplify those processes
• Added the ability to configure ‘allow empty responses’ in mobile calculation fields
• Resolved an issue where - if participants provided a response used later in a calculation, visited the calculation then returned and edited previously entered values - the calculation could error and require the participant restart
• Resolved an issue where the screen would not consistently shift to show triggered errors
• Resolved an issue where users selecting single options on a tickbox field configured with a dependency and validations were experiencing inconsistent behaviour in-app

Castor Connect 2023.2.2.0

This release extends the QR option for PIN resets to display it on the ‘Forgotten pin’ screen:
 

• Users will be able to scan a PIN reset QR code directly from a dedicated button/option the ‘Forgotten PIN’ option on the PIN entry screen rather than have to wait in the reset request
