It is possible to copy the field dependencies when copying a step. In order to do so you will need to choose to have the dependencies in the copied step reference to the original fields or the new copied fields. 

If the dependencies cannot be viewed in the copied step, the 'Copy dependencies?' option may have been set to 'No'. We recommend copying the step again, ensuring that the correct option is selected from the 'Copy dependencies?' dropdown options.
