Surveys can be printed or exported as pdf before data has been entered (so that the survey can be filled on paper), as well as after it's been completed (for filing).
To print a survey, locate it in the Surveys tab (either within a record or from the general Surveys tab). Click on the cogwheel icon next to the survey and select the option "Print survey".
